This is Elizabeth Doman’s writing website. Collected here are and will be information about her, her writings, other projects, and where she and her work can be found.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
As of this update (May 2025), Elizabeth uses the descriptor “I make things.” While her current “day job” is as a parent, she also makes digital art, sketches and ink drawings, crocheted and cross-stitched items and other fabric crafts, and most varieties of crafts she can get her hands on. And, primarily in the “making” sense, she is a writer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Elizabeth’s writing endeavors generally center on aspects of genre, typically fantasy though sci-fi is also strongly represented. The hope with the writing is to share new worlds, create engaging characters, and hopefully give something uplifting and of value to the world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
This website currently has a new post once a week on Mondays at 9 am Chicago time (UTC-05:00). Post topics vary from life posts to rough drafts of short stories written in response to a writing prompt to discussions on technique. For the most part, these posts are not edited for multiple reasons. First, to allow more writing time to be allocated to books; second, to allow a better glimpse of the working mind; and a distant third, there’s a possibility that edited or second-look versions may come into play in the future. Also on the website, a page devoted to current stories in progress.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
